At approximately 11:48pm EST on Sunday, tremors began to gently shake the ground all over the globe. Seconds later, lightweight objects such as paper, kitchen utensils and TV remotes began to levitate on their own in seemingly zero gravity. This was only a warning for what was to come, as moments later, gravity as a whole suddenly shifted upwards, sending cars, boats, trucks, and most importantly, people, to the skies.
Airplanes and helicopters that were airborne during this period of time were also effected as many lost control, resulting in devastating crashes and collisions, with the Japan Airlines Flight 532 being the most notable, which took the lives of all 383 passengers onboard.
For those fortunate enough to be indoors during this inconceivable occurrence, the nightmare only lasted about 57 seconds, a little longer than the first gravity shift experienced four days ago Thursday afternoon. For those who weren’t so fortunate however, their nightmare lasted until their bodies met the pavement. Human remains can be seen riddled across the streets and building rooftops, along with shrapnel from wrecked vehicles and outdoor appliances.
“Since the 17th century, we’ve had a general understanding that what goes up must come down,” said world renowned physicist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Werner Leunam. “But the recent gravity shifts are challenging the very principles of basic physics. It shouldn’t be possible but it’s happening, and it’s scary. Makes you wonder what else we’re missing.”
Benicio Alvarez, a college intern working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), shares those same concerns. “Look I’m not allowed to say anything, not that they tell me much anyway, but everyone here at NASA is working their absolute hardest to get to the bottom of this. We’re exploring all possibilities, even the most ludicrous.”
As of today, the death toll across the globe has already been confirmed to reach 7 million, but estimations expect that number to at minimum quadruple in quantity as more of those unaccounted for are found.
The United Nations has released an international statement urging people to stay indoors and to not go outside even for extreme emergencies. The statement also advises people to stay near cushioned objects or firm and stable objects to grab onto in the event that another gravity shift occurs.
The President of the United States has also issued a statement declaring that all national public transportation must cease operations until further notified, including airlines. Hundreds of citizens have gathered outside the White House to protest against the new regulations, with many of them believing that the gravity shifts are all part of one big malicious hoax.
“They’re testing a new experimental weapon, and they’re using us, the American people, as their lab rats,” said protestor Devon Gluth. “None of the other countries are being affected, it’s just us. It’s all fake news. They’re trying to silence us by telling us to go home because it isn’t safe. I know the truth and I’ve got a right to protest about it!”
